My doctoral research looked at ways in which composers,
songwriters and improvisers in all areas of music deal with the
problems associated with developing their work from conception
to performance and recording. And, importantly, the factors and
mechanisms which help to facilitate their creativity and overall
well-being.
I use my own findings, together with other established and well
grounded research in my work with people in all areas of the arts,
to identify, understand and deal more effectively with problems
and issues. Applying these findings can also enable individuals
to find paths to enhanced development and a more successful career.
Extensive research and years of highly effective practical experience
helping people has given me a unique insight into their lives and
I am currently in the process of writing a book about this. |
